Archu Travels is operated by Shashank Kumar Singh, operating as Archu Travels (sole proprietor),D/129 97/A Paramhans Nagar Colony, Kandwa, Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh. Archu currently provides domestic trip planning services within India.

What we collect & why
We collect only the personal data needed for the purposes below:

What we do not collect
We do not ask for passport scans, payment-card details, or other sensitive identity documents through the website enquiry form.
Consent
Your consent is the main lawful basis for collecting your trip-planning and contact data. It is free, specific, informed, unconditional, and unambiguous, given by a clear affirmative action (you tick a box or press Submit), never by a pre-ticked box.
Marketing consent is optional and separate; declining it never affects our ability to respond to your enquiry.
You can withdraw consent at any time, as easily as you gave it - WhatsApp +91 91962 95190 or email info@archutravels.com. Withdrawal does not affect processing already lawfully carried out before withdrawal.
Your rights
Under the DPDP Act you have the right to:
- Access a summary of your data
- Correct inaccurate data
- Request erasure
- Withdraw consent
- Raise a grievance
- Nominate a person to exercise your rights after your death or incapacity
- Complain to the Data Protection Board of India

Retention & security
We keep personal data only as long as the purpose requires:

We erase data when the purpose is no longer served or you withdraw consent, whichever is earlier, unless retention is required by law.
We apply reasonable security safeguards: encryption in transit (HTTPS) and at rest where supported, access controls, logging, monitoring, backups, and contracts requiring our processors to apply equivalent safeguards.
Sharing, cookies & marketing
We share only the minimum data needed:
- With processors that help operate the website, hosting, CRM, WhatsApp, email, and payments (under written contracts).
- With travel suppliers when necessary to plan or deliver a trip.
- With authorities where required by law.
Analytics receives only non-personal, aggregate data - never your name, phone number, email, or trip notes.
WhatsApp is a genuine contact route during staffed hours (Mon-Sat, 09:00-16:00). Marketing messages are sent only with your separate, optional consent, and every marketing message gives you an easy opt-out. Follow-up related to your actual trip enquiry does not require marketing consent.
